Spectacular rich blood red color characterizes this red spinel amongst the elite. Measuring 9.7 X 6.8 X 5.2 mm this spinel sports an elongated oval brilliant cut that is expertly delivered and cut to precise standards. Of Mogok Burma origin this spinel weighs 2.34 carats, has the finest richly saturated red color, excellent clarity (better than eye-clean), superb luster and tone and dynamic lively red brilliance. On either side of the center double prong set spinel is a trilliant cut diamond and together the pair weighs 1.00 carats total. These trilliants are VVS2 clarity and IJ color. An additional 0.77 carats of round brilliant ideal cut diamonds grace the ring's shoulders and gallery. These diamonds are graded VVS2 G. The varying color grade between diamonds is notable to the eye but not as dramatic as in the photos. In total the ring has 1.77 carats of fine quality diamonds.
