Imperial Sherry Colored Zircon Diamond Ring 14KWG (090ZRR)

The largest International gem show held in the US takes place every February in Tucson, AZ. The 2009 show closed with some amazing new finds including one of the top sellers Zircon that was carried in a variety of earth tone reds, orange, yellow and brown. Most sought are the sherry wine to cinnamon colored large stones that show multi-colored brilliance. Show-cased in this designer ring is a rich sherry colored cushion cut zircon of Ceylon (Sri Lanka) origin. This large zircon 7.07 carats, measures 11.82 X 8.53 X 5.96 mm and sports a gorgeous cushion cut with some scissor like faceting along the pavilion.
Excellent clarity and very intense luster further characterize this zircon as amongst the finest. Of particular note is the stone's electric multi colored brilliance with vibrant flashes of red, orange and deep raspberry. Prong set the zircon rests between 0.70 carats in total diamond weight. Baguette cut diamonds are elegantly channel set in the middle portion of the ring's shoulders and on either side of the baguettes is a row of bead set round brilliant diamonds. Additional round brilliant diamonds are located on both sides of the ring's gallery. The diamonds have top cutting, color (G grade) and excellent eye-clean clarity (SI1 grade).
