Showcasing outstanding vivid top of the line cornflower blue color is this very high quality Ceylon pear cut sapphire. Certified by GIT the sapphire has exceptional luster that produces this velvet like sheen and depth of color found only in the finest specimens. The sapphire weighs 3.06 carats, measures 10 X 8 X 4.9 mm, has excellent eye-clean clarity (under 20X there are colorless pin pricks, a feather and some small rutile needles) and pinnacle top vibrant blue brilliance. Prong set the sapphire dangles beneath a V shaped diamond lined chain trim that has 0.75 carats of precision round brilliant cut diamonds that are SI1 G color.

An elegant cable chain with strong lobster claw clasp is the final component to this beautiful necklace. The chain portion measures 15 1/2, the diamond and sapphire chain trim is an additional 13/4 for a total length of 171/2. The piece weighs approximately 10 grams.
