Certified by GIT (Gemological Institute of Thailand) as containing both manganese and copper is this exceptional richly colored Paraiba tourmaline which serves as an excellent spicimen for the enchanting lure of Mozambique Paraiba's electric neon hues. The large 3.54 carat tourmaline measures 10.40 X 8.65 X 6.45 mm and has very high quality color with excellent neon blue and green showcased throughout. Multiple copper needles criss-cross throughout the stone and can be noted in photos and with magnification. These though remain difficult to detect with the naked eye although some upon close inspection can be seen by in large they remain masked by the stone's excellent cut and brilliance. A gorgeous emerald scissor cut results in long flashes of bright teal color from virtually every direction causing shimmers of blinding blue, green and teal flashes. Prong set in a heavy platinum basket the tourmaline is afforded maximum light exposure and is beautifully complimented by six princess cut diamonds for 0.80 carats total weight. The diamonds are highly rated VS1 and E COLOR! The ring weighs 6.3 grams of platinum and is a size 7 3/4 (will be re-sized upon request).
