This custom ring features a hand-made setting that carefully protects the center oval brilliant cut tanzanite. The tanzanite has stunning rich periwinkle color with primary rich blue color and secondary purple hue, excellent clarity and an oval Portuguese brilliant cut with extra facets for unrivaled brilliance. Weighing 1.13 carats and measuring 8 X 6 mm the tanzanite rests in a custom cradle design setting that surrounds the stone's vulnerable and exposed top and bottom for superb protection. Channel set on each side of the tanzanite are a total of four princess cut Nigerian pink tourmalines that are 0.48 carats total weight. These tourmalines were carefully matched and selected to highlight the tanzanites' beautiful pink to rose flashes and the result is a spectacular purple and pink color combination. The tourmalines display a vibrant rich pink color, excellent clarity, precision princess cuts and deliver vibrant pink brilliance. The ring weighs approximately 4.3 grams and is a size 8 (resizing available).
