This gorgeous antique cushion cut tanzanite has top of the line expert faceting, weighs 1.85 carats, is 7.5 X 7.2 mm and originated from the coveted Block D mine in Tanzania. Displaying premium rich Block D color the tanzanite has a strong deep blue hue that dominates the secondary fainter purple color. Photos were taken under various lighting conditions to showcase the stone's trichroic nature which displays electric blue, purple and pink flashes of brilliance. The stone is flawless in clarity. Gorgeous fine quality marquis cut diamonds are prong set along the ring shoulder's and outline the channel set straight diamond baguettes. In total there is 0.75 carats of diamonds that are VS1 clarity and G color (fine quality bright, white, eye-clean and brilliant). The ring lends to a traditional style and the delicate and unique presentation of marquis diamonds is quite feminine. A substantial 9+ grams of 950 cobalt platinum was used to make this ring which is a size 61/2 (re-sizing available).
