A very fine pear cut tanzanite from the legandary D block mines of the Merelani hills of Tanzania, rich blue color and eye clean in clarity. This tanzanite like most show the dichroic property which gives it a rich blue at one lighting angle while showing violet at another. So although the lighting for our photography makes it appear darker, its actually a far livelier brilliant color.
