Wow color on this AGTA certifed untreated Ceylon sapphire. Best described as bluish purple the color shifts so that it is primarily blue in daylight and then violet to purple in the evening. This is a gorgeous sapphire with a stunning oval brilliant cut, excellent clarity and wonderful bright purple blue brilliance (the stone REALLY sparkles). The sapphire weighs 1.51 carats, measures 7.15 X 5.62 X 4.69 mm and is prong set in a platinum mounting weighing 4.2 grams.
Elegant tapered diamond baguettes elegantly cross the ring's shoulders in durable yet tailored channel settings and are 0.35 carats total weight and VS1 F rated (GIA diamond grading standards).
