The latest finds of neon pool blue to green tourmaline in Nigeria and Mozambique has enabled jewelry designers to once again create jewelry with vibrant electric teal colors similar to that of the Paraiba tourmaline originally found in Brazil. Certified by the American Gem Trade Association (AGTA) as untreated blue tourmaline (most tourmaline is unheated although some, most notably the neon blue to green colored stones, is treated for color enhancement), has an electric rich pool blue color, weighs 1.99 carats, sports a precision trilliant brilliant cut (absolutely no windowing), has excellent clarity and is considered premium quality for its coveted and rare neon vibrant blue color. The tourmaline is custom set in a designer ring weighing 5+ grams of 14K yellow gold and is elegantly framed by 0.42 carats total weight round brilliant diamonds with an excellent clarity rating of VS2 and color grading of H. In total the ring weighs 2.41 carats of fine tourmaline and diamonds and is a size 6 1/4 (re-sizing available).
