This spectacular 1.29 carat untreated sapphire has been custom cut by one of America's leading lapidaries. Resembling a marquis shape this fancy fantasy cut showcases the results of skillful faceting. The sapphire is untreated and certified by the renowned American Gem Trade Association (AGTA) and the certificate will accompany the sale of this ring. Originating from the Tunduri Africa region the sapphire exhibits blinding broad beams of varying blue hues including cobalt, periwinkle, denim and royal blue. A prong setting offers maximum light exposure for this designer one of a kind sapphire that has excellent eye-clean clarity (with 10 X there are some straight line needles beneath the table and these barely appear in a few of the photos) and blinding brilliance. Channel set round brilliant precision cut diamonds line the platinum ring's shoulders and are 0.35 carats total and VS2 clarity and G color rated (very nice eye-clean, white and brilliant stones). The ring weighs 4.5 grams and is a size 6 (re-sizing available).
