A gorgeous purple sapphire weighing 1.51 carats is placed in a platinum prong setting and mounted to a custom designed ring weighing over 7+ grams of 14K yellow gold. The purple/violet sapphire has been certified by the AGTA (American Gem Trade Association) as natural and untreated corundum. Of Ceylon origin, this sapphire elicits dynamic brilliance sending forth an array of pink, purple and blue flashes. The stone has an oval brilliant cut, excellent clarity and what is classified as premium rich purple color with excellent saturation. Complimenting the vibrant purple color are 6 round brilliant and 6 tapered baguette cut diamonds that are rated SI2 I and are beautiful white, eye-clean and brilliant stones. The ring's shank/band has extra thickness with carefully filed and rounded edges for added comfort. The ring is a size 6 3/4 but may be re-sized upon request.
