Taking center stage is a beautiful oval brilliant cut Ceylon sapphire that exhibits what is often described as mid-blue to cornflower blue color. The color just radiates from within the stone that has excellent clarity (nearly loupe clean)...you can see into the stone's depth. Most notable is the sapphire's outstanding electric cornflower blue brilliance that is just breath-taking! This eye-clean stone measures 8.5 X 6.2 mm and is prong set in a gorgeous 14K yellow gold ring mounting that has channel set princess diamonds along the ring's shoulders and pave set round brilliant diamonds line the gallery. From every angle bright blue or white brilliance is displayed. The diamonds weigh a substantial 1.10 carats total weight and are rated I1 I (there are no visible carbon or other distracting inclusions in the diamonds that face up a nice bright white).
