Top color is exhibited by this outstanding quality orange (heat treated only) Ceylon sapphire. The sapphire weighs 0.72 carats, measures 6.2 X 4.4 mm and is prong set in a platinum mounting. The sapphire is a combination of rich orange and pink colors with orange being very dominant and pink a fainter secondary hue. Excellent clarity and an oval brilliant cut result in a spectacular display of orange brilliance with both orange and pink flashes noted throughout the stone. A gorgeous hand custom-made ring houses the sapphire which is surrounded by contrasting fine quality round brilliant and tapered baguette cut diamonds that are rated SI2 GH and weigh 0.28 carats total weight. The ring weighs a substantial 6 + grams and is a size 6 1/4 (re-sizing available).
