This rare rich red sapphire has a lively fire like display of vibrant red color with the occasional orange spark. Like embers burning this sapphire emits stunning brilliance and has excellent color saturation, tone and luster. The sapphire weighs 2.155 carats and is certified from the prestigious American Gem Trade Association's gemological laboratory (report included with sale). The sapphire is a natural heat enhanced stone and has not been treated in any way (no lead filling or beryllium heating). Prong set in a heavy platinum basket the sapphire is mounted in a lovely antique inspired pave diamond ring made with over 5 grams of 14K yellow gold. Pave diamonds grace the ring's shoulders on all sides and weigh a total of 0.55 carats. The round brilliant diamonds feature ideal brilliant cuts, are bright, white, brilliant and rated SI1 GH quality. The ring is a size 7 (we can easily re-size this for you).
