Certified by EGL as untreated this exceptionally fine quality stone displays excellent clarity (fine rutile needles often observed with unheated stones are difficult to observe with a 10X jeweler's loupe but can be more easily seen with the microscope at 20X). The sapphire weighs 0.85 carats, sports a precision princess cut (cut to proportion without windowing or dark/dull spots) and its rich cornflower blue color is accurately depicted in the photos. Complimenting the regal stature of the sapphire is a designer A. Jaffe pave diamond ring that has 42 quality round brilliant pave set diamonds of SI1 GH quality (bright, brilliant, white and eye-clean) for a total of 1.0 carats total weight.
