A striking display of nature's awesome beauty is exemplified in this spectacular cobalt blue untreated oval brilliant cut sapphire. Of Kanchanaburi origin the sapphire has remarkable tone and luster resulting in an endless dreamy rich blue dispersed evenly throughout the stone at an optimal saturation level. The quality of this stone is superb. Near loupe clean clarity and an excellent oval cut (void of windows or dark spots) join to create an electric display of cobalt blue brilliance. Prong set in platinum the vibrant blue sapphire is surrounded by pave bead set round brilliant diamonds that grace the ring's shoulders and under gallery. In total there is 0.50 carats total weight in diamonds that are VS1 clarity and F color (very high quality diamonds with ideal cuts, better than eye-clean clarity, bright white color and phenomenal brilliance). The ring weighs a substantial 8.8 grams with a band that varies from 4.8 mm wide to 2.5 mm. It is a size 6 3/4 (re-sizing available).
