Australian Matrix Opal 1.95 carats 11x9.1mm (MOPAL195)

I still remember finding this opal in a small shop/stand in the bustling metropolis of Winton, Australia. I really had never really seen an opal like it before. The man selling it told me it was an opal that was heat treated (again I had never heard of opal being heat treated before), The pictures fail to do its colors justice. Its matrix looks like a starry night with every star a different color, just a fascinating stone.
