Pink Tourmaline Oval 1.30 ct (PINKTO130)
|
First and foremost I loved the color of this tourmaline the second I saw it. I was visiting a friend in Australia this January and while he has been cutting/collecting sapphire for over 60 years he also has an extensive collection of opal, tourmaline, ruby amongst other natural stones.
This tourmaline he purchased about 10 years ago from a very well known Brazilian delaer that traded Mozambique pink tourmaline. The color and cut on this stone are breathtaking. A beautiful blend of about 80% pink with about 20% orange to give it, its spectacular eye appeal. Eye clean plus in clarity, it's truly a stunner.
