Songea Oval Red Sapphire-1.12cts-7.2x5.4mm

Luscious rich red (with a touch of orange color) on this untreated oval sapphire from Songea region of Tanzania. Unlike some of the sapphires that you see coming from Africa, this stone didn't need a beryllium infusion to get some color, this stones color is completely natural and untreated.
