This is one intriguing star sapphire/star ruby. Our buyer remarked "it can't make up its mind whether its a ruby or sapphire". A pretty cool stone, when we photographed it we saw exectly what he was talking about. Outdoors in natural light you see the blue predominantly and indoor under a spotlight or halogen lighting you see the red tones come out to shine. Nice high dome, and superbly priced to be someones favorite ring.
