Tanzanite has always had the speciall allure to people, since Tiffany introduced it a few decades ago. It's become so popular in fact, it's now considered the birthstone for December.
This cushion cut tanzanite was mined from the richly famous D Block in the Merelani Hills of Tanzania, and you can see that by its strong rich color, which is almost a signature for D block stones.This heat treated stone has a deep indigo-blue color in natural sunlight, and appears violet in incandescent light.
