A lovely pear cut natural tanzanite from Tanzania. Rich blue violet color and eye clean in clarity. A superb stone mined in the fabled D block mines of Merleani Tanzania. The Merelani tanzanite mines are divided into four sections or blocks, lettered A through D, where the D block mines are the ones most associated with the richer color.
