A rare Zambian aquamarine(natural and heated) with outstanding blue color is elegantly presented in this designer Art Deco inspired platinum ring. Weighing a substantial 3.87 carats this large aqua measures 11.9 X 8.5 mm. Finding aquamarine with this spectacular vibrant blue color (the color in the photos is actual color of aqua in natural lighting) is exceptionally difficult. This aqua exhibits a vibrant bright blue color that is a strong primary hue with no secondary hue present (often aqua of lesser quality will have subtle green or gray hues), has excellent clarity and top of the line faceting. The aqua was cut in the US by one of the finest and its blinding brilliance is a product of highly skilled faceting. Electric blue sparks radiate from within the stone which has precision cutting and is void of ANY window, dark or shaded areas. A mounting reflective of the Art Deco era displays the aqua in a prong setting and incorporates AAA+ Ceylon fancy faceted blue sapphires, pave set diamonds and lovely milgrain and engraving edges. The sapphires are rated top of the line for their rich cornflower blue color, excellent clarity, precision cutting, bright blue brilliance and out of this world luster. There is 0.62 carats total sapphire weight and 0.25 carats total diamond weight. The diamonds are highly rated VS1 clarity and H color. This sophisticated platinum mounting weighs 7.0 grams of platinum and is a size 61/2 (please indicate sizing request on your order form).
