Platinum Large Blue Violet Tanzanite Stud Earrings
Showcased in four prong platinum scroll mountings is a large 8.0 mm round Portuguese cut pair of tanzanite that weigh 4.82 ctw. The pair are superbly matched, a difficult challenge with tanzanite, and have excellent tricrhoic properties displaying both rich blue and purple hues with the occasional pink spark. The color is a primary rich blue with secondary purple although varied lighting conditions result in a rich periwinkle color with both purple and blue sparks noted in the stone's brilliance (the photos show varied lighting conditions).
With loupe clean clarity, precision custom cuts and top color this pair exhibits spectacular brilliance.....they are exceptionally bright and filled with light. Heavy and large earring backs are used for added security, stability and comfort while worn.
