Super Blue Certified Paraiba Tourmaline Pink Sapphire Ring 14KWG 6.12ctw
There will not be many new pieces with large Paraiba tourmalines now that the Mozambique mines are depleted. Featured in this ring is a large 4.04 ct certified (G.I.T.) emerald cut blue Mozambique Paraiba tourmaline.
The tourmaline measures a large 11.32 X 7,07 X 6.04 mm, elicits the most prized neon or Windex blue color with blue being the dominant color and teal/green secondary. Although the photos show a number of inclusions these are largely microscopic and the stone with the exception of a pin prick or two is eye-clean (I can't see anything with my eyes but to be conservative with younger eyes you may see a minute colorless inclusion).
On either side of the four prong set Paraiba is a very large trilliant UNHEATED Ceylon pink sapphire. Purchased a number of years ago this lovely pair is rare due to its size and being untreated. Each sapphire measures 7.0 mm and the pair weighs 2.11 carats.
They are eye-clean (again the photos show the silk inclusions commonly found in unheated sapphire but the stones are eye clean), have a medium pink color and tremendous brilliance. The ring weighs approximately 6.0 grams of 14KWG and is a size 7 3/4 (please indicate your sizing preference on the order form).
