Cushion Cut Rasberry Red Rhodolite Garnet Pave Diamond Earrings 14KWG
A few years ago a deposit of very fine quality rhodolite was discovered in Tanzania. This deposit yielded stones that were unusually clean and in larger sizes. This pair of 2.46 carats total weight cushion cut Tanzanian rhodolites exhibits the high quality characteristics known for this material. Their color is a gorgeous rich raspberry with slight color change in varied lighting conditions from a pinkish raspberry to a reddish one. The stones have excellent VVS clarity, precision cuts that measure 6.8 X 4.8 mm and display electric brilliance filled with pink and red flashes. Prong set atop a double wire open gallery basket setting the rhodolites are afforded maximum light exposure.
Surrounding the rich raspberry colored stones are pave/bead set round brilliant diamonds and milgrain edging. In total there is 0.16 carats of fine quality SI1 GH graded diamonds. The earrings are approximately 15 mm or a bit over 1/2 by length and by width.
