Padparadscha's are the rarest of Sapphire's colors. Its name is derived from the lotus flower which is a stunning combination of pink and orange hues.
Featured in this ring is a VERY high quality natural heated Padparadscha that weighs 1.53 carats and measures 6.58 mm. Of Ceylon origin this rare stone has gorgeous medium saturated peach color with orange and pink hues evident.
It has excellent near loupe clean clarity and superb faceting. As observed in the photos this sapphire has outstanding luster and brilliance. The sapphire simply radiates with bright flashes and color.
Prong set the Padparadscha is mounted in a ring with pave set round brilliant diamonds that line the ring's shoulders and the head piece (component holding the sapphire). In total there is 1.00 carats total diamond weight and the diamonds are SI1 G quality.
