AGTA Certified Pink Orange Oval Sapphire 2.04 cts
Sapphires are one of the few varieties of gemstones that naturally have a full spectrum of color, although most people think of blue sapphire when the name is mentioned. They can run the gammit from clear like a diamond to black, with red being the only exception.
Since Ruby and sapphire are the same material, the only distinction between the two is color. If its red it's a ruby, any other color it's a sapphire. So in theory you can't have a pink ruby only a pink sapphire.
This sapphire first caught my eye because of it's unique color. Orange, some pink and some brown give it, its richness and depth of color. It's also eye clean in clarity.
It also has been certified by the AGTA gem lab as a heat treated Natural Sapphire
