This is one of the nicest teal colored sapphires I have ever seen, and it originates from a relatively new find in Montana USA . This mine has been in production for about 3 years. The color is a blue teal as primary with a strong secondary green.
The antique square cut sapphire is unheated, has excellent clarity (some silk can be seen with a loupe which is commonly found in unheated sapphires), has superb brilliance filled with flashes of blue, teal and green and weighs 1.85 carats. The stone measures 7.20 mm and is prong set in a beautiful Fleur De Lie detailed basket setting.
The ring is an Art Deco design with migraine edges and pave set diamonds. It has 0.25 carats total weight in diamonds the are SI1 GH quality. The ring weighs a substantial 6.96 grams and is a size 6 3/4 (please indicate your size request on the order form).
