One of the pleasures of dealing in sapphire are the WIDE range of color you find. Everything from white to black and every hue and variety in between (Except red, then it’s considered a ruby). One of the rarest colors to find naturally occurring is the orange hue.
This particular sapphire I particularly admired as it has golden yellow orange color, and NOT TREATED in anyway. This is particularly important since most orange colored sapphires on the market (>95%) are altered with chemicals/heat/diffusion to change the color to give this same desirable hue.
This stone is very well cut and near eye clean as well, has been certified by the EGL Gem Lab in New York, and is just a lovely natural example of Mothers Natures work.
