A gorgeous find from the Cross Roads Georgia, USA mine is this large 3.52 ct round brilliant cut amethyst that measures 10.0 mm round.
The amethyst exhibits top of the line royal purple color with pink flashes and largely only observed in the Cross Roads materials is the characteristic blue flash which adds to the stone’s fine color dispersion and level of color saturation. The amethyst is nearly loupe clean, has expert American faceting and outstanding radiant purple brilliance. It is set in a heavy basket setting that protects the stone by keeping it at a low height which also aids in ease of wear and reducing risk of damage. On either side of the amethyst are two marquise cut diamonds that are 0.16 ctw and an additional 36 round brilliant cut diamonds for 0.46 ctw.
In total the ring has 0.62 ctw in diamonds that are top quality SI1 G quality (clean, bright and brilliant). The ring is made of 5.6 grams of 14K white gold and is a size 83/4 (please request your sizing preference on the order form in the special notes section).
