Sapphires expertly cut here in the U.S. with a fancy cut are a rare commodity. This lovely 1.87 carat Umba untreated sapphire sports a fancy oval checker style cut. Varied lighting conditions will change the color of the stone from blue to purple to a lighter blue/purple gray.
The colors are quite unique and very stunning. Prong set this uniquely beautiful very clean sapphire is afforded ample lighting to maximize the stone’s excellent brilliance. The stone’s brilliance is filled with vibrant rays of purple and blue.
On either side of the center set sapphire are top quality princess cut diamonds that are elegantly channel set into the ring’s shoulders. The diamonds are 0.60 carats total weight and SI1 clarity G color. The ring features a squared or Euro shank for added comfort while worn, weighs a substantial 6.2 grams and is a size 7 (please place your size request on the order form).
