Description
This gorgeous Australian Lightning Ridge black opal is highly rated for both its bright colors (4 out of 5),dark body tone (N2), vibrant red color (a highly sought and rare color in blak opals) and excellent polished dome.
It weighs 2.45 carats, measures 14.8 X 10.9 X 2.1 and is prong set in a vintage Art Deco diamond ruby platinum ring. There is 1.07 carats of fine quality round brilliant diamonds that are VS2 clarity and I color. Bright red rubies highlight the ring and draw the opal’s red flashes.
These rubies are diamond cut for added brilliance are a strong primary red color, have excellent clarity and top of the line brilliance. Each ruby is prong set and they are comprised of four 2.0 mm and four 2.25 mm stones for 0.44 carats total weight.
