Description
Intense purple violet color that is at an ideal level of saturation places this sapphire in the top of its class. The color is a rich strong primary purple with secondary violet hue and the colorful brilliance also includes bright sparks of pink and blue. The beautiful sapphire is prong set, has eye-clean clarity (the photos show some pin pricks and small bubbles but these are not seen by the naked eye) measures 8 X 6 mm and weighs 1.75 ctw. Accompanying the sapphire are 0.70 carats of fine round brilliant diamonds that are SI2 I quality and also prong set. The diamonds line the ring’s split shoulders to create an elegant and brilliant style. The ring weighs 3.0 grams and is sized between 7 1/4 and 7 1/2.
