An excellent depth of color on this Burmese star sapphire. Deep blue color with a tiny green undercolor adds to the stones richness. Not a strong asterism, but 💙💙💚💙 the color of this one
FYI-Ancient wisdom told us that the tablets on which the Ten Commandments were written were actual sapphires. Kings used to wear sapphires around their necks as a powerful defense mechanism.
